Weglot translates an existing website without rebuilding it. The tool detects text, translates it with AI, lets you correct it and serves each language on its own URL with hreflang tags. On a Webflow site, the question comes up against Webflow Localization, the native solution we use for our own site and for our clients. This page helps you choose between the two.

Weglot is a website translation solution compatible with most CMSs, including WordPress, Shopify and Webflow. The company claims more than 111,000 brands and more than 110 languages and dialects (Weglot official website). Its reviews are very positive, with a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot from more than 1,600 reviews according to its website.
The prices below were taken from the official pricing page on 23 October 2026, in euros excluding VAT. Yearly billing equals ten months.
| Plan | Monthly price | Translated words | Languages | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €15 | 10,000 | 1 | 5 team members |
| Business | €29 | 50,000 | 3 | Higher usage quota |
| Pro | €79 | 200,000 | 5 | URL translation, statistics |
| Advanced | €299 | 1,000,000 | 10 | Tone, custom languages, import and export |
| Extended | €699 | 5,000,000 | 20 | Large, complex websites |
The word quota is a fixed limit over the life of the plan. It counts unique words translated across all languages. A 20,000-word site translated into two languages therefore uses 40,000 words and exceeds the Starter plan.
Webflow offers its own multilingual solution, built into the Designer and the CMS. We adopted it for noqode.fr and for clients expanding internationally, as our article on website localisation explains.
Our complete guide to Webflow Localization covers the native setup, language by language.
Weglot remains one of the simplest ways to make a site multilingual quickly, whatever the CMS. Its per-word billing model, however, calls for a precise calculation before choosing a plan. On a new Webflow site, the native solution seems more consistent to us.
Our Webflow agency builds native multilingual websites, with an SEO strategy for each market.
Weglot costs €15 to €699 a month depending on words and languages. The €15 Starter plan covers 10,000 words in one language. URL translation starts with the Pro plan, at €79.
An AI website translation solution, compatible with most CMSs, that publishes each language with its SEO tags.
Yes, as long as you choose a plan that translates URLs and review the translations of strategic pages. Hreflang tags are handled automatically.
Not necessarily. Webflow Localization covers multilingual needs natively. Weglot remains relevant for a multi-CMS portfolio or a large number of languages.
