Mobbin is a UX/UI reference library drawn from live apps and websites, with screens, full flows, website sections and animations. Its MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor direct access to more than 621,000 screens to design from real examples.
Mobbin is a library of design references drawn from live products. It gathers mobile and web app screens, full flows such as sign-up or checkout, and website sections such as a hero or a pricing page. Since the launch of its MCP server, Claude can search these references before designing an interface. We tested it on the full website of a fictional neobank, documented in our tutorial on the Mobbin MCP and Claude.
Mobbin started in 2018 as the screenshot folder of Jiho, who started the project. The platform now reports 621,500 published screens, with new additions every week (Mobbin official website). Each screen is filed by app, by category and by interface element.
A designer who wanted to document a flow used to record it alone, screen by screen. Mobbin gathers these flows and makes them searchable in seconds.
Who is it for? Mobbin mainly serves the following profiles.
The Finance+ add-on opens more than 78 banking, crypto and investment apps, including flows behind identity checks. It costs €399 a month billed yearly and requires a Team or Enterprise plan.
Mobbin's MCP server lets an AI search references in natural language. It exposes three tools, search_screens for screens, search_flows for flows and search_sections for website sections (Mobbin documentation). It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma and Grok.
In Claude, the connector is added from Customize then Connectors, with the email and password of the Mobbin account. A connector added in Claude Desktop is picked up by Claude Code with no extra setup. It takes less than a minute, as shown in our video Connecting Claude to Mobbin (MCP) in 40 seconds (in French).
Without guidance, a model reproduces an average of the whole web it has read. With Mobbin, it starts from precise examples, like a designer who opens their inspiration folders before drawing.
We asked Claude Opus 5.5 to design the full website of Kova, a fictional neobank. The first version was built without any outside reference. For the second, Claude queried the Mobbin MCP and wrote a report of 17 chapters and 55 annotated screenshots from 27 brands, including Revolut, Mercury, Ramp and Wise. It then redesigned the site down to the account opening flow. The session lasted 2 hours for an estimated API cost of $53.88.

Kova remains a fictional brand, with no visitors and no CMS. Mobbin itself notes that its examples show how products are designed without proving that a pattern improves performance.
In a second test, we gave the same prompt to GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1. Each model first produced a site without help, then a redesign fed by Mobbin references.
